CaribDirect endorses ‘Makin Style’ magazine

THE impending release of the ‘Makin Style’ magazine is already creating quite a stir across the region even though the official launch is not until January 2013. CaribDirect has recently endorsed the magazine and partnered with its intended producers, according to a press release sent out by the Sonia Noel Fashion Committee.

CaribDirect.com is your one stop shop for news, views, politics, entertainment and much more from the Caribbean. Founded and managed by dedicated Caribbean nationals, CaribDirect endeavours to showcase the latest from the multicultural Caribbean Diaspora, with island and country-specific blog updates on a daily basis, as well as coverage of contemporary technology, fashion, sports and business and diplomacy.

“It was an honour being asked to contribute towards the pre-Olympic Fashion Show when I visited London during the Olympics. To have them on board this new magazine is a big plus for us,” Publisher Sonia Noel said.

“We work on the basis of forging strategic alliances with key players in certain relevant industries, such as business, entertainment, media, fashion, and education, to assist us in providing value to our global audience,” David Roberts, CEO of CaribDirect, said.

CaribDirect’s partnership with Sandal Sole in New York; CENUK (Caribbean Enterprise Network) in London; CEDA (Caribbean Export Development Agency) in Barbados; the University of the West Indies (Mona) in Jamaica; Westminster Kingsway College in London; St Kitts Music Festival in St Kitts; FabAfriq Magazine in Birmingham and Ghana; BEFFTA Awards in UK and Canada; Screen Nation Awards London, with links to all Caribbean high commissions and embassies in London, are integral to shaping a quality information product for Caribbean nationals and others around the world.

Chief Executive Officer of CaribDirect, David F. Roberts, is pleased to be associated with the launch and continued development of ‘Makin Style’. He said, “Makin Style gels perfectly with the ethos of CaribDirect.com, with both focusing on providing useful content to the global Caribbean diaspora. We both stress quality, reliability and sustainability to ensure our readers are continuously satisfied.”

Sonia’s collaboration with CaribDirect.com has been an inspiration to our fashion conscious readers, while adding an exciting dimension to our range of articles… We look forward to even more fashion content following the launch of Makin’ Style.”
