GUYANESE organisations, businesses and companies have been invited to attend the Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council of India (TEXPROCIL) with support from the Indian Ministries of Textiles and Commerce.
This is according to President of the Region Three Chamber of Commerce, Halim Khan.
Dubbed the “Ind-Texpo 2020”, Khan said the second edition of the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) will be held from March 17-19, 2020 at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
Khan said the Ind-Texpo 2020 is an exclusive exhibition of cotton textiles in India.
He explained that businesses will benefit from the specialised fair in the Indian cotton textile sector where they will be provided with a unique and effective platform for Indian suppliers to meet foreign buyers and offers a one-stop destination for worldwide importers to source Indian textiles in all its splendour from fibres to home textiles and fashion.
Khan said the exhibition will have on display textiles like home textiles, fabrics and yarns as well as cotton-rich blended textiles.
“With the ability to produce flexible volumes, ease of communication, India provides several unique advantages that make it a preferred sourcing destination for cotton textile products across all categories of buyers,” Khan noted.
He said the event is the hub for textile business where the global map provides enormous opportunities to meet with suppliers of entire textile value chain for capturing new markets and buyer.
“TEXPROCIL constantly strives to make Indian cotton textiles globally competitive and showcases the same to buyers across the world,” he said.
