Two of the students will undertake post-graduate studies at the University of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba. They are Dr. Lhee Rand Castello (General Surgery) and Dr. Clavis Fraser-Tappin (Internal Medicine).

On hand to receive them at the Jose Marti International Airport were Dr. Melissa Corlette-Sengwe, Student Affairs Attaché at the Guyana Embassy; Guyana’s Ambassador to Cuba, Halim Majeed, and members of his personal staff.
