‘Freedom Family never disappoints’

– Says ‘Freedom Boss’

AS we draw closer and closer to the month of May, the rush of excitement heightens in patrons who are anticipating the surfeit of events slated for the month. It is no question that persons are going to have a tough time deciding which event(s) to go to.

However, Freedom Family’s ‘FWB (Friends With Benefits)’ party, which is slated for May 24 at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) Ground on Lance Gibbs Street, Queenstown, seems to be one that is ‘buzzing’ all over social media.

Company CEO, Marlon Jacobs, better known as ‘Freedom Boss’, told the ‘The Buzz Magazine’ that this party is one that is about showing appreciation to supporters, since it’s a celebration of the company’s fifth anniversary.

As such, Jacobs said that they are putting their all into the event to ensure it is one that no one would want to miss.

“Over the past five years,” he said, “the Freedom Family’s events have never failed to deliver. Freedom Family never disappoints. And this one will be even bigger and better than all our previous events, because we want to show the people that we appreciate them; that we appreciate all the support that they have given us over the years. So you can imagine the amount of giveaways, and the extent to which we are going to ensure that everyone and their friends feel appreciated.”

He had previously told ‘The Buzz Magazine’ that the concept behind the name of the event stems from the whole appreciation concept of the party. All supporters can benefit from a pass that allows a plus-one.

The $2000 early-bird tickets are sold out, he added, but because of the demand, and because they want as many persons as possible to benefit, they have extended the early-bird deadline to April 20.

After that date, ticket prices will increase, so Jacobs is urging es persons to grab their tickets before the deadline.

Sharing some of the expectations persons should have of the event, ‘Freedom Boss’ said:

“Patrons can expect a completely different lineup of DJs, great ambiance, and lots of new faces. We are putting in the extra to ensure our fans feel the appreciation we have for their continued support they give us. They will also benefit from the drinks specials we have: Buy one bottle of ‘Henny’, Ciroc, Black Label or Grey Goose and get a second bottle at half price. We have also added a cocktail bar for the ladies with an extensive menu. Cocktails such as ‘Married man, Uptop Boss, Man is Dawg, Red Ooman, are just a few we will have available.”

In addition, they have added paint and powder to create a J’Ouvert-like concept. Persons can also purchase the branded FWB t-shirts to attend the event.

‘Freedom Family’ made their debut in 2014, when they hosted a party dubbed ‘Freedom’ at club Monaco.
Since then, they have been contributing significantly to the entertainment fraternity and the night-life activities.
