THE GUYOIL Tradewind Tankers School Football League got off to a rousing start on Sunday afternoon with big wins for Annandale and Christianburg/Wismar, among others.

 Playing at the Ministry of Education ground, Annandale opened the tournament with a 4-1 win over Vergenoegen.

Omari Glasgow was on target in the 7^th, 15^th and 33^rd minutes with Markel Matheson (3^rd) opening the proceedings. For Vergenoegen, it was Romel Modus (38^th) who was on target.

 Christianburg were by far the biggest winners on the night after smashing Uitvlught 8-0. Tyrise Lewis was the chief destroyer with goals in the 8^th, 25^th and 33^rd while there was a brace from Andre Mayers (3^rd, 68^th), and single strikes from Jermaine Mason (27^th), Randy Pickering (38^th) and Felix Innis (67^th).

Charlestown beat Marian Academy via a 1-0 scoreline, thanks to Raymond Bandhu in the 31^st while Queen’s College were victors over Queenstown by a 2-1 margin

Queen’s College scorers were Jarrell Dosantos (48^th and 61^st) while Queenstown had Tyrese Hart in the 33^rd.
