PYARG Field Officer in Region Two (Pomeroon/Supenam), Mr. Herald Alves said it lasted from August 4 to August 7 and was very successful.
He said it involved participants and unit leaders from across the country, including students from Anna Regina Multilateral and Charity Secondary schools.
Those from the Region Two Unit said it was a very challenging experience and they had to keep encouraging each other to continue.
However, it gave them the opportunity to learn about the country’s rainforest, benefit from team work and work together to meet the same goal.
Alves said, in the evenings, they played indoor games and interacted with each other at camp fires.
They were also taken on a tour of Bartica, he reported.
