IN a show of support for Guyana’s vibrant cultural heritage, Guyana Power & Light Inc. (GPL) made a donation to the Guyana Hindu Dharmic Sabha to assist with preparations for the upcoming Diwali Festival. The contribution highlights GPL’s commitment to fostering unity and celebrating the nation’s diverse traditions.

The donation was formally presented by GPL Team Leader Kesh Nandlall, who spoke about the significance of Diwali and the importance of preserving Guyana’s multicultural heritage.

“Diwali is a time of light, reflection, and togetherness. At GPL, we believe in powering not just homes and businesses, but also the cultural spirit that brings our communities to life,” Nandlall said.

Executive Member, Savitri Sukhai, accepting the donation on behalf of the Sabha, expressed gratitude for GPL’s continued support of cultural initiatives and community engagement.
