SUPENAAM businesswoman Sharmalenie Neeranjan, 34, has been charged with being an Accessory After the Fact Committed on Public Justice for allegedly harbouring two wanted men.
The charge, laid under Section 27 of the Criminal Law (Offences) Act, Chapter 8:01, alleges that between November 1, 2024, and February 28, 2025, Neeranjan provided refuge to Kellon Fredericks and Kevin Fredericks, who were both wanted by law enforcement.
The matter was heard virtually on Monday, March 31, 2025, before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke at the Charity Magistrate’s Court. Neeranjan pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The court granted bail in the sum of $300,000, and the case was adjourned to April 17, 2025, for the disclosure of statements.
