MACKENZIE High School and Kwakwani Secondary School will clash this afternoon in the final of the Linden Mayor’s Cup Under 15 basketball tournament from 16:00 hours at the Mackenzie High School hard court in Linden.

On one of the semifinals played, Mackenzie High School disposed of the challenge posed by Linden Foundation Secondary, 26-6, following their 12-4, half-time lead.

Their opponents are Kwakwani Secondary who overwhelmed Wisburg Secondary, 25-8, following their 10-point, 16-6, lead at the break.

There is a third place playoff game between the losing semifinalists Linden Foundation and Wisburg Secondary from 14:00 hours.

This tournament was organised by the Linden Amateur Basketball Association (LABA) with sponsorship coming from the Department of Education, Region 10 (Upper Demerara – Upper Berbice), R-10 NABORS and the GUYBALLERS Inc.
