PLANS are moving apace for the inaugural Region 3 Softball Cup on September 8th and 15th, while 3’S Legacy and Western Pest Control have pledged their support towards the tournament.
The General Manager said that he is pleased to support the tournament in the region and is very happy that his business can support the development of the game and the youths of the region.
He further went on to say that softball cricket is what helps to develop national cricketers to represent our region and country because it is where players start to play at a very tender age and move on with the game as they grow up.
The General Manager went further in wishing all the teams the very best and urged the players to play with the rules that govern the sports.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of Western Pest Control Mr. Trevon Persaud said that he is pleased to support this form of cricket, which is grassroots cricket for all cricketers, and encourage all the players to showcase the talent they have for and in the game.
Both entities thank the organisers for putting together the tournament so that young people can be positively involved in sports and the game of cricket.
They are urging the public to support the tournament and its players.
Organisers of the tournament thank both businesses for coming on board to support the tournament and promise that the games will be played at the highest standard and allow the young cricketers to show their abilities in this grassroots game of cricket.
