CHIEF-OF-STAFF, Brigadier Omar Khan recently received the British High Commissioner, Her Excellency Jane Miller, and Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Minister David Rutley, for a courtesy call.

During deliberations, the officials renewed their commitment to strengthening ties between Guyana and the United Kingdom.
The visiting officials also laid wreaths at the temporary monument set up outside Base Camp Ayanganna in honour of the five servicemen who lost their lives in the tragic GDF Bell 412 Helicopter crash, earlier this month.
