IN support of President, Dr. Irfaan Ali’s vision to make Guyana a hub for business, tourism and other economic activities in the Caribbean, Latin America and South America, and with the plethora of new airlines now offering services here, Global Tours and Travel – GlobalTT has opened a local office to provide a full line of travel/logistics services for both corporate/business and personal/leisure travel.
Chief Operating Officer (COO) of GlobalTT, Tyler Orderson informed the Guyana Chronicle that after carefully studying Guyana’s developmental trajectory, and all of the business and economic activities currently underway in Guyana as part of its transformational agenda, the company recognised the need for an effective journey and destination-management company.
It was established to better facilitate and coordinate the international travel needs of both local companies and their employees, and foreign entities and their personnel operating from Guyana, along with agencies operating within the governmental sector.
The COO said that with Guyana cementing its place as the fastest-growing economy in the world, and with the new era of prosperity being enjoyed within the country, GlobalTT was launched in January of this year to fulfil the business-travel needs of both the private and public sectors of Guyana, and it is also geared to satisfy the leisure-travel needs of private individuals, couples, families and groups.
For business travel, Orderson advised that GlobalTT provide end-to-end travel services that include airport transfers, airline bookings and ticketing, meet-and-greet services and executive- lounge access at airports, ground transportation and auto rentals, and hotel accommodations at destinations around the globe.
Orderson confirmed that they work with a slew of well-known international brands in the airline industry in the hotel sector, with popular and well-renowned chains, and with the top auto rental companies in the world.
GlobalTT, he said, definitely has the skills and connections necessary to create itineraries needed and to satisfy the travel requirements of the various corporate clients, including those from the oil-and-gas industry, import/export and manufacturing sectors, and public/governmental agencies.

Azcuy opined that Cuba was the underrated jewel of the Caribbean, with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world such as Playa Paraiso, to the historic Bay of Pigs and the picturesque Old Havana.
He said that GlobalTT intends to give Guyanese the opportunity to experience the true beauty and vibes of that amazing island with its Cuba vacation packages for all tastes, from enjoying all-inclusive resorts in Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo or Cayo Santa Maria, to spending time in Varadero which has world-class golf courses and restaurants around the best beaches.
Holguín, he said, is ideal for nature enthusiasts and eco-adventurers, whilst visits will be arranged to top cities in Cuba, such as Havana, for Cuban history and architecture.
