AS part of efforts to support Guyana’s preparedness and response in the fight against COVID-19, DeSinco Limited has donated more than $4 million in hygiene supplies to the country’s health sector and several organisations located in Georgetown.
In a press release, the company said that the beneficiaries were the Eccles and Industry Health Centres, the Ministry of Health’s Rehabilitation Services, the Men’s Group of the Nazareth Church and North Ruimveldt and the Sophia Community Development Association (SOCDA).
Among the items donated were Beep hand sanitisers and Lifebuoy soap.
The company’s Pharmaceutical Manager, Ulex Fung, stated that “At DeSinco we believe in using our brands as a force for good. Lifebuoy has been a brand that is committed to promoting healthy lives and well-being through proper sanitation practices, and our partners at BEEP also share the same passion.”
The release added that DeSinco is pleased to partner with the Guyanese community and will continue to build partnerships and team up with the public and private sectors to provide lifesaving assistance especially through this challenging time.
