THE curtain fell on the 2022 Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) last night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH) on Homestretch Avenue where Suriname were crowned Champions after pipping Guyana by a meagre two points.

Suriname finished the competition, which for the first time had nine disciplines being contested, with 110 points while the host, Guyana, tallied an agonising108 points. Finishing in third place were French Guiana who managed 26 points.
