Buxton contractors benefit from vital training
Minister of Public Works Bishop Juan Edghill has kept a promise made to contractors from Buxton, East Coast Demerara. On Sunday afternoon, the minister, accompanied by Permanent Secretary Vladim Persaud and a team from the Ministry's Procurement Department, along with personnel from the Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) and the National Insurance Scheme (NIS), engaged the contractors in a specially planned training session. The session is aimed at preparing the contractors for the contract-bidding process and to ensure that as business owners they are also tax- and NIS-compliant (Public Service Ministry)
