THE High Commission of India, Georgetown, announced that the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (GoI) was organising three Know India Programmes (KIPs) from August to November 2022.
The Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship initiative of the GoI which familiarises youths of Indian Origin (between 18 – 30 years) with their Indian roots and contemporary India through a 25-day orientation programme in India. The upcoming KIP’s are as follows: 60th KIP Edition – August 25, 2022 to September 14, 2022 in Goa; 61st KIP Edition – September 26, 2022 to October 16, 2022 in Gujarat and 62nd KIP Edition – November 01, 2022 to November 21, 2022 in Rajasthan.
According to the High Commission, the requirements are a printed and signed application and Annexure Form, along with two recent passport-size photographs submitted to the High Commission of India not later than: 18th July, 2022 for 60th KIP, 18th August for the 61st KIP and 22nd October for the 62nd KIP.
“The Government of India will bear complete expenditure on boarding/lodging/gratis visa and 90% of the economy class return air-ticket to the participants.
