PRESIDENT, Dr. Irfaan Ali, and several Cabinet Ministers, on Tuesday, engaged a group of Indian investors, among whom was legendary Indian cricketer, Kapil Dev, who is also the Chairman of Dev Group of Companies.
The group, led by Dr Ajeenkya Patil, Chairman of the Ajeenkya D Y Patil Group, also included Chinta Sasidhar, Chairman of the Viswa Samudra Group and owner of the Krishnapatnam Port and Rajesh Puri, CEO of Dev Features Pvt Ltd.
President Ali was accompanied by Senior Minister in the Office of the President with responsibility for Finance, Dr. Ashni Singh; Minister of Housing and Water, Collin Croal; Minister of Public Works, Bishop Juan Edghill; Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce, Oneidge Walrond and Minister within the Ministry of Public Works, Deodat Indar.
Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Office for Investment (Go-Invest), Dr. Peter Ramsaroop and Director of Projects at the Office of the President, Mrs. Marcia Nadir-Sharma also participated in the meeting.
