AFTER being on the run for five years, Delon Moore was on Monday charged for causing death by dangerous driving.
Moore, 27, of Corriverton, Corentyne, Berbice, appeared before Magistrate Peter Hugh at the Blairmont Magistrate’s Court for causing the death of 32-year-old Adrian Gomez by dangerous driving and was remanded to prison.
He will make his next court appearance on January 14, 2022.
According to a police release, Moore had evaded capture after being involved in the fatal accident which occurred on August 9, 2016, on the Chester Public Road, West Coast Berbice. At the time he was the driver of motorcar PTT 9233 and Gomez was a passenger.
Ranks of the Springlands Police Station arrested him on January 2, 2022.
