THE Guyana Football Federation (GFF) honoured three senior government officials with honorary jerseys on Saturday night at the National Track and Field Centre in Leonora.

Prime Minister, Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips; Minister of Public Works Juan Edghill and Minister of Culture Youth and Sport Charles Ramson Jr, received jerseys with their names and selected numbers from President of the GFF, Wayne Forde, during half-time of the final of the GFF/Kashif and Shanghai Super 16 Cup.

In an invited comment, the Prime Minister said that sport is a vehicle that promotes cohesion and togetherness, which is central to the PPP/C.
