RANKS of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU), on Friday, conducted a search operation at Lot 1067 New Glasgow Housing Scheme, Edinburgh, East Bank Berbice where several parcels of cannabis were discovered.

According to CANU, Candacy Bennett, 34, called ‘Pinky’ of the aforementioned address, along with Dilon Cadogan, called ‘Scar’ of Pepper Street, Edinburgh were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters, along with the cannabis.

According to CANU, during the search of the location several parcels containing cannabis were discovered in the presence of two individuals who were at the house.

The cannabis, when weighed, amounted to a total 48.4 kg (107lbs) with a street value of over $15M.
