WITH the red-ball defeat behind them, West Indies, loaded with the majority of T20 stars, take on a South Africa unit who are seeking to find their feet.
On the eve of the match, captain Kieron Pollard expressed that he is unfazed by the rankings on the basis of the numerous changes that took place after their World T20 success in 2016 in India.
The West Indies team are ranked tenth while the South African team are sixth but the Proteas have lost their last four T20I series, unlike the West Indies, who defeated Sri Lanka 2-1 in March.
As with the Sri Lanka series, they are buoyed with the presence of their big names and there is also the added presence of star all-rounder Andre Russell.

The big surprise is the unexplained omission of talented batman Shimron Hetmyer from the 13-man squad.
Hetmyer was named in the 18-man provisional for the South African tour after being dropped for the Sri Lanka series.
Meanwhile, for South Africa, they are searching to find their best combination after a lack of success in recent series.
Temba Bavuma was appointed their white-ball captain in March and he expressed it will be a good test against a team, he labelled as favourites for this year’s World T20 in October-November.
It has been raining in Grenada in the lead-up to the match and showers have been forecast for the next week.
Match bowls off at 14:00hrs. West Indies squad: Kieron Pollard (captain), Nicholas Pooran (vice-captain), Fabian Allen, Dwayne Bravo, Fidel Edwards, Andre Fletcher, Chris Gayle, Jason Holder, Evin Lewis, Obed McCoy, Andre Russell, Lendl Simmons, Kevin Sinclair.
