DAYS after a man allegedly killed his mother in Kara Kara, Linden, Region 10, he died on Friday after complaining of feeling unwell at the MacKenzie Police Station. Dead is Hosea Ajadai, 24, of Kara Kara, Linden, Region 10. An autopsy done on the body of his mother, Wanda Patricia Wilson, 56, on Friday, indicated that she died of multiple injuries and blunt trauma to the head and body. Ajadai was arrested on Tuesday last after police discovered his mother’s body with the head and face smashed, inside her bedroom. An eyewitness reported to the police that he was called to make checks on Wilson and her son who resided at the same property. As a result, he proceeded and, on arrival, he met with the son and he observed the entire dining area ransacked and furniture and other appliances were scattered. He suspected that something was wrong and he proceeded to the McKenzie Police Station where he reported his observation and the officers accompanied him to the house.
On arrival, the ranks did a walkthrough of the house and observed that it was ransacked. The victim’s body was discovered in a bedroom on a bed with a door atop her.
The body was examined for marks of violence and the head and face appeared to be smashed. The body was escorted to the Linden Hospital Complex where it was certified dead by the doctor on duty, and subsequently escorted to a funeral home for storage.
Ajadai was taken to the Linden Hospital Complex to be examined by the doctor who acknowledged that both the victim and suspect were patients at the said institution.
No marks of violence were seen on the most exposed parts of Ajadai’s body.
