… CEO Narine given Dolphin Award of Excellence

DAVE’S West Indian Imports recently became the premier sponsor of the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) and its CEO Dave Narine was inducted as one of the club’s honorary members. During this past weekend’s proceedings held at the St Francis Community Centre Training Hall in the Ancient County, Narine, a long-serving cricket stakeholder and sponsor, received RHTYSC’s highest accolade, the Dolphin Award of Excellence. RHTYSC Secretary/CEO Hilbert Foster noted that Narine and the club have established a close working relationship and the businessman was excited to be on board with Guyana’s leading youth and youth organisation. Ex-national female youth player Oma Matadin inducted Narine as an honorary member of the club. RHTYSC secretary and Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) president Foster recognised Narine as a huge contributor to local cricket development, having flag-shipped the GCB U-15 tournament over the years and as the primary sponsor in other areas of cricket development. Meanwhile, Narine, following his induction, presented the RHTYSC with a sponsorship cheque worth $350 000.
