ONE day after he was reported missing, the lifeless body of a father of five was, on Tuesday night, found floating in the Supenaam Creek. Dead is 41-year-old Mohan Khowshal, called “Tuss” of Supenaam Creek, Region Two. His body was fished out by relatives around 23:50 hours and escorted to the Suddie Public Hospital, where he was officially pronounced dead. Blood was observed oozing from his mouth. No marks of violence were seen on his body. Khowshal’s wife, Faleena Nazir, related that her husband left home on Monday to visit a friend in Supemaam Creek but never returned home. Given her concern, a report was subsequently made at the Aurora Police Station. The woman said the friend, Clayton Duncan has since claimed that after imbibing alcohol, he left around 22:00 hours that night. She said that Khowshal would regularly consume alcohol. The body is presently at the Suddie Mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
