BOLLYWOOD Fans are padding up for Dibakar Banerjee’s thriller ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ which will release on March 18. The trailer has been creating a buzz as it shows the hero killing off the heroine. Sandeep Kaur, being played by Parineeti Chopra is accused of committing fraud, and Pinkesh “Pinky” Dahiya whose role is being played by Arjun Kapoor, is a policeman from Haryana. The two represent two entirely different Indians who are united by their mistrust, suspicion, and hatred for each other. Movie lovers cannot really be sure if the killing does happen in the movie, or whether the two will eventually fall in love. ‘Will he kill her or save her?’ is the

big question in the film that follows the relationship between Sandeep and Pinky. The upcoming Indian Hindi-language black comedy film is directed and produced by Dibakar Banerjee and Aditya Chopra and also stars Raghubir Yadav and Neena Gupta. The film was set to be released on March 20, 2020, but had to be postponed like many others due to the onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Meanwhile, according to Scroll.in, Yash Raj Films recently announced the theatrical release dates for five of its productions today, reaffirming its commitment to the big-screen experience. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar will be the first off the bat, to be followed by Bunty Aur Babli 2, starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Siddhant Chaturvedi and first-time actor Sharvari. The spiritual sequel to the 2005 hit has been directed by Varun V Sharma.
Agneepath and Brothers director Karan Malhotra’s period drama Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, will be out on June 25. Divyang Thakkar’s comedy Jayeshbhai Jordaar, led by Ranveer Singh and also starring Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani and Ratna Pathak Shah, will be in cinemas on August 27.
The historical Prithviraj, directed by Chandrapraksh Dwivedi and starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillaar, Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood, will be released on November 5, during Diwali.
