Red Force, Jaguars atop points table
… Boatswain, Lewis head individual stats
FOLLOWING the completion of 12 matches in the CG Insurance Super50 Cup which is being hosted in Antigua, Trinidad and Tobago (T&T) Red Force head the points table with the Guyana Jaguars narrowly behind.
The tournament which began on February 7 has the undefeated T&T ahead with 16 points from four matches while Guyana, also undefeated, have 12 points from three encounters. These two tournament favourites are scheduled to go head-to-head today.

Third-place occupants Windward Islands (WI) Volcanoes are on eight points after claiming two wins and losing an equal number while Barbados Pride are fourth with four points after securing only one win in their four encounters.
Leeward Islands (LI) Hurricanes and Jamaica Scorpions are also both on four points after each securing just one win in four matches. However, according to the Net Run Rate (NRR), Hurricanes are fifth while Scorpions sit in the cellar.
After Friday’s game between Volcanoes and Scorpions, all teams except Jaguars have completed four matches.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Evin Lewis and Leeward Islands’ Quinton Boatswain lead the individual stats for batsmen and bowlers, respectively.
Boatswain heads the most wickets list with 11 while Guyana’s Gudakesh Motie is second with nine. Prior to Friday’s match, Boatswain and Motie were tied on nine wickets but the entire statistics showed that the latter has been the more economical of the two after both playing three matches.
