THE Guyana Police Force, on Friday, issued wanted bulletins for two men in relation to the offences of conspiracy to defraud and murder.
Police are seeking the whereabouts of Marcio Magalhaes Santos, 32, of Boa Vista Brazil and Balamani Backdam, Region Seven (Cuyuni-Mazaruni) and Jermaine Encomo Richmond, 44, of Lot 34 Third Street, Alberttown, Georgetown.

Santos is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to a murder committed on Vivian Lacruz on November 3, while Richmond is wanted for questioning in relation to conspiracy to defraud the State between March 1, 2017, and March 31, 2020.
On November 4, 2020, goldminer Santos, an unidentified man, along with goldminer Vivian Lacruz, of Lethem, Region Nine, were consuming alcohol at a shop at Balamani Backdam when an argument ‘erupted’.

Reports are that Santos whipped out a knife and dealt both men several stabs about their bodies before escaping. The victims were subsequently taken to the Bartica Hospital by public-spirited citizens where one of the victims, the yet-to-be-identified man, was pronounced dead while Lacruz was treated for his injuries and referred to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation.
