CHIEF Executive Officer of Bris O Promotions, Seon Bristol, has shifted gear with the promotion of the ‘Return of the Dragon’ boxing card.
Bristol said that he held virtual discussions which were encouraging with several key players. He, however, maintained that the COVID-19 holds the swing on the reality of the card.

Dexter Marques is expected to face USA-based Elton Dharry in the main event. Bristol said that he has also spoken to president of the Guyana Boxing Association, Steve Ninvalle, for there to be an amateur segment. President of the Guyana Boxing Board of Control (GBBC) Peter Abdool was also contacted as were the boxers who are expected to feature in the main bout.

“I must say that the results of these discussions are encouraging. The main hurdle is receiving the go-ahead from the health authorities in Guyana,” Bristol said.
