The Guyana Boxing Association(GBA) has expressed condolences to Guyana and Caribbean Bantamweight Champion Keevin Allicock on the death of his father.

Fifty Eight year old Leonard Allicock died at the Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday following a prolonged illness.

GBA president Steve Ninvalle said that the Allicock family has the association’s deepest sympathy and that he will be working with the younger Allicock to see ways in which the GBA can assist. Ninvalle however confirmed that the GBA will be supporting a wake for the elder Allicock who he labeled a staunch supporter of the sport.

Allicock is expected to be buried on Tuesday.
