Police are investigating the death of a Shieldstown, West Berbice man who was allegedly stabbed to death by his brother on Saturday afternoon.

The victim has been identified only as ‘Sardanan’.He was allegedly stabbed to his abdomen by his sibling while the two consumed alcohol sometime around 1300hrs.

Police later arrested the suspect at the scene.Investigations into the man’s death are ongoing.
