POLICE, acting on information received, on Saturday, April18, 2020, intercepted a minibus at Mabura Hill, Region 10, with several parcels of cocaine and cannabis.
According to a police report, ranks at the Mabura Hill Police Outpost intercepted the minibus at around 09:00hrs.

A search was conducted on the minibus and three parcels of suspected cocaine were found. The police also found three parcels of cannabis which were wrapped in plastic.

The minibus driver, along with another man, was arrested. The drug was weighted in their presence and it amounted to 89 grams of cocaine and 6,818 grams of cannabis.

The men are currently in custody awaiting charges for drug trafficking.
