MAGISTRATE Sherdel Isaac-Marcus, on Friday, January 3, 2020, granted a 25-year-old porter $100,000 bail on a larceny charge.

Sasenarine Nanhu of Mahaica appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and denied the charge, when it was read to him.

Particulars of the charge stated that, on December 12, 2019, at La Penitence Public Road, he stole a quantity of footwear valued at $592,000 and a quantity of blankets valued at $432,000, property of Ashkay Ali.

However, the facts in the matter were not presented in court.
Magistrate Sherdel Isaac-Marcus granted Nanhu $100,000 bail and adjourned the matter until February 14, 2020.
