RORAIMA Airways on Sunday hosted its annual Christmas party for children of Santa Mission at the Roraima Duke Lodge in Kingston, Georgetown.

The event brought together close to 100 children along with their parents for a day of fun and happiness and a chance to meet Santa Claus.

The Christmas party also saw the children receiving a snack, a lunch, a party bag filled with goodies and a special gift from Santa.

“Usually it is kept at Arrow Point, but this year it was done differently” she said.
She explained that the event is held in keeping with the mission of the company which is to ensure that the children are happy.

“Because it is the time for happiness, so the drive is once they are happy we at Roraima Airways are happy,” she said.

Khan explained that the company has been doing the activity for over 20 years now and caters for children within the age group of 2 to 12 years old.
When this publication visited the Duke Lodge, children were seen with joyful and happy smiles, eating, playing and having a merry time.

Merley Camlo, a mother of five, related that it is her second experience at the party and thanked Roraima Airways for hosting it.

“I am overjoyed and excited because whenever my children are happy, I am happy, so that is why I am happy… we can enjoy Christmas together,” she said with a smile.
