A TEENAGER was hospitalized after he was stabbed, about his body, in the aftermath of a confrontation Friday, at an after-school-lesson session at Enmore, East Coast Demerara (ECD).
Reports indicate that the young man was approached by over a dozen young men, and he was stabbed about the body by one of the boys whom he had “a talking with”, earlier in the week.
Inquiries revealed that the teenager was standing along the Enmore Public Road, awaiting public transportation to head home, when he was attacked. He was stabbed with a broken glass bottle.
The matter was reported to the police and an investigation was launched. The 15-year-old teen was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital in a stable condition.
