A 53-year-old boat captain has been missing since Thursday, October 31, 2019, after he fell overboard from his vessel, which was last seen at the East Coast Demerara River mouth.

David Mohan called “Ice box” was last seen on Thursday around 11:00hours, when he reportedly fell from his boat into the river, during high tide
According to reports reaching the Guyana Chronicle, Mohan was, at the time, on his vessel with two crew members.

It is alleged that when he fell out of his boat, the crew members became worried after he did not surface.
Relatives launched a search party to find Mohan but they have since come up empty-handed.

The relatives are hoping that he was rescued and are praying for his safe return.
