RAMESH Ramdeen, 20, called “Braffy,” a fisherman who was on the run after allegedly stabbing a Meten-Meer-Zorg, West Coast Demerara villager to death Sunday last, was arrested Tuesday at Parika, East Bank Essequibo (EBE).
Reports are that Ramdeen stabbed Noel Rampersaud, 22, during a heated argument over an old grievance. Residents tried to keep Rampersaud alive, but he was pronounced dead on arrival at the Leonora Cottage Hospital.
Ramdeen is expected to be charged with murder this week.
