A FORMER graduate of the Guyana Technical Institute was, on October 1, 2019, arraigned before Magistrate Clive Nurse.
19-year-old Shaquille Thomas appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and denied that, on September 27, 2019, at Robb Street, he, with others, robbed Alfredo Rodriguez of one LG cellular phone valued at $30,000.
Thomas also denied that, on the same day, at the Avenue of the Republic, he stole one gold chain valued at $216,000, property of Laressa Spencer.
Police Prosecutor Goodman made no objection to bail under the condition that Thomas reports to the City Constabulary every Monday and Friday until his next court appearance.
Thomas was released on $75,000 bail and is to return to court on December 19, 2019, for statements.
