CONCERNED about the carnage on the country’s roadways, Kronoco Safety Solutions in collaboration with the Guyana National Road Safety Council (GNRSC) held a Road Safety Awareness Walk on Sunday.

The event was also supported by the Ministry of Education; Schlumberger; ExxonMobil; the Guyana Logistics and Support Services Inc.; Professional Guard Service; and family and friends of victims of road accidents.

“It was critical for us to choose road safety because it’s a national issue and, being a safety company with international accreditation, we have a responsibility to improve where we operate. That being said, it was critical for us to find something that was as crucial and as significant as road safety because we’re seeing a lot of increase that’s unnecessary,” Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and co-founder of Kronoco Safety Solutions, Latoya Jack said.

Apart from Sunday’s activity, Kronoco Safety Solutions, a health and safety training company, will host a Road Scape 2019 conference at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre (ACCC) today; public talks in several regions in October and November; and an intersection Safety Demonstration in December.
