ON Wednesday, August 28, 2019, Senior Magistrate Leron Daly granted $40,000 bail to a man who was accused of inflicting bodily harm.
Colwin Major appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and denied the charge when it was read to him.
Particulars of the charge stated that, on May 4, 2019, at Le Repentir Cemetery, Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Warren Duke.
Police prosecutor did not object to bail being granted to Major.
Magistrate Daly ordered that Major stay away from Duke and released Major on $40,000 bail.
The matter was adjourned to September 26.
