GUYANA is transforming and Royal Castle has been aligning itself with its transformation. The popular Trinidadian Franchise has opened a new branch at Movietowne, with a refined setting that caters for all. This new location marks the tenth one in Guyana and is in keeping with their mission to expand all across Guyana and the Caribbean.
Marketing Manager of the Franchise, Jermaine Cranmore, told the Guyana Chronicle that the company wanted to do something different, and take the fast-food facility to another level.

Cranmore explained that MovieTowne is Guyana’s hotspot and the company wanted to be part of that hotspot, to make available their Caribbean flavoured, diverse meals and their family-oriented space.
“We have a variety of sides to go with the meal, we have our salad and we try to promote that because we are trying to go healthy. Our chicken is of course rotisserie, so there’s not much oil, our meat is white meat and our wraps, you can get them in whole wheat. So we have a variety that caters to all,” Cranmore said.
Additionally, he said that even though they are known to be a fast food outlet, they promote healthy fast food.
With a view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this new location provides the perfect ambiance to dine with family and friends, as it is very spacious with attractive furniture, which also adds to the ambiance that the franchise is looking to create. In addition, the Movietowne Branch has a kid’s corner for children to play while their parents dine.

He pointed out that Royal Castle is the one fast-food franchise that one can taste the Caribbean flavour which is marinated in their menu. This, he said, is why persons should try to support and preserve it because it speaks to cultural preservation.
He also shared that the prices for the meals are standard throughout the different branches. And persons in close vicinity of Movietowne can benefit from free delivery services.
Sharing a brief history on Royal Castle, the marketing manager said that the company started out with its first location on Hadfield Street, and later created their flagship branch on Sheriff Street. Over the years, they have experienced growth and were able to expand to now 10 locations in the country. These 10 locations he said, provides employment for over 300 Guyanese in total.
However, 10 is not the cut-off point, because he made mention of expanding to places like Bartica, Berbice, Essequibo and Linden.
