NINETEEN-year-old Kwesi Jordan found himself before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Providence Magistrates’ Courts on Friday.
Jordan pleaded not guilty to the charge of burglary
The court was told that, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, Jordan broke into the property of Shreif Ali and stole $175, 000.00 worth of items.
Jordan, who hails from Hill Street Albouystown, told the court that it was his first time at court and he did not commit the offence.
However, the police prosecutor did not object to bail and bail was granted in the sum of $80, 000.
The matter has been adjourned to September 2 for trial.
