AN ‘action sheet’ has been added to the agenda of the Mayor and City Council (M&CC) in an effort to help the officers keep track of progress being made on decisions taken by the council.

Mayor Ubraj Narine asked that the action sheet be approved and councillors voted in favour of the request after Councillor Heston Bostwick moved a motion to the effect and Deputy Mayor, Alfred Mentore second it.

The mayor observed that decisions are often taken by the M&CC, but no follow up is done on them. He noted that the council tends to only deal with decisions taken at previous statutory meetings.

The new action sheet will feature all decisions taken by the council as of last January.
