Member of Parliament, Mervyn Williams on Saturday celebrated with two senior mothers of Santa Rosa in the Moruca district by presenting them with cakes as part of a pre-Mother’s Day treat.
The treat followed a village meeting at the end of a two-day consultation on the subject of the revision of the Amerindian Act and preceded the handing over of two wooden boats each being outfitted with a 40-horse power Yamaha outboard engine and fuel tanks to two villages in Moruca for use in the area of healthcare delivery service.
