MATCHES in the 2019 edition of the Milo Schools Football Tournament continued at the Ministry of Education ground on Woolford Avenue with Lodge drubbing Marian Academy yesterday.
In the third game of the day, the Lodge side netted nine times against their fellow Georgetown side.
The line was led by Dorwin George (7th,39th and 60th) who scored a hat-trick while Marcus Bamfield’s brace (42nd and 53rd) also assisted.

There were single strikes for Rasheed Evans (38th), Curt Edwards (44th) and Shemroy Myers (61st) as well as an own-goal in the 50th.
In the day’s opening game, a 2-2 draw ensued between South Ruimvdelt and St Joseph High.
Warren Williams opened the scoring for the Woolford Avenue- based side in the 4th minute before Christopher Beckles brought things level in the 27th minute.
Williams then sent St Joseph back into the lead through a strike in the 29th, but Godfrey Weeks would again tie things up for South Ruimveldt.
When the whistle went, the game was locked at 2-2.
Annandale was also victorious on a breezy Sunday, beating Canjie 3-1, thanks to Collin Henrique (21st), Omari Glasgow (35th) and Jerome Harrigon (67th).
Canjie was able to claw back one, through the efforts of Jenon Persaud (23rd).
The last match of the day sawPresident’s College beat St Mary’s 2-1.
Edran Stephen’s 15th minute strike was cancelled out by Jaheim Harsham in the 30th; Vernon Lawson would prove to be the East Coast team’s hero, netting in the 64th to give his side the glory.
Matches continue today with The Bishops’ High taking on St. Stanislaus College in game one and Queen’s College taking on North Ruimveldt Secondary in game two.
