A 33-year-old father of two reportedly died last night aback Port Kaituma, in the North West District following an accident.

Dead is Alvin Blair, called ‘Royo’ of Fitzburg, Port Kaituma. While the details are sketchy,  reports are that Blair and another man were on an  all-terrain vehicle (ATV) which crashed along a roadway leading to the mining areas aback the community.
The accident reportedly occurred shortly after 21:00hrs.

Described as a hardworking youngster and an avid footballer, Blair is said to have been well liked in his community, and as such his death has understandably come as a shock to everyone.

Repoets are that investigations into the accident have already begun.
