GDF special forces late Monday night rescued the injured occupants of a small Cessna aircraft aircraft which crashed aback the Canal Number Two conservancy.
The team was dispatched to the location by helicopter, an aviation source reported.
Reports are that the aircraft , a Cessna 182 bearing American registration N8704T, crashed while enroute to the Eugene F Correia International Airport at Ogle on Monday night around 1900hrs.

It reportedly ran out of fuel as it travelled from Arau, a border location near Guyana’s western boundary with Venezuela.
The aircraft belonged to Guyana Adventist Medical Aviation Service (GAMAS) , a Christian missionary organisation which provides humanitarian flights in the Hinterland.
On board were the pilot, Lincoln Gomez and a police officer, whose name was given as Michael Grimmond. The body of a dead man was also on board.
A large crowd gathered at the conservancy dam as flares from the site were visible from the dam.
