THIRTEEN-year-old left-arm spinner Bhaskar Dhani sent a strong message to the Berbice Cricket Board when he chalked up nine wickets against Mt Sinai in a recent U-17 clash.
The Rose Hall Community Centre Cricket Club bowler, who is part of a squad of 50 short-listed cricketers currently in preparation for U-15 inter-country cricket, finished with career- best figures of 9-20.
RHCCCC were led by another youngster when they batted. Eleven-year-old Romario Ramdihol scored 34 runs to push RHCCCC to 119 all out.
Dhani then produced the best figures by any Berbician this season to restrict Mt Sinai to 46.
