POLICE on the Essequibo Coast are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Khedar Lalbachan, aka Ernest, of Lima, Essequibo Coast who was discovered dead on Christmas morning on the La Belle Alliance Public Road, Essequibo Coast.

According to a police release, Khedar Lalbachan’s body was found lying motionless on the Public Road. Information revealed that Lalbachan left home to go by his daughter, Vivian Horrace, in Richmond with a blue bicycle. On the said date about 14:00 hrs, Narpaul Rogobeer was walking on the La Belle Alliance Public Road when he noticed Lalbachan’s motionless body at the corner of the road with a blue bicycle. He then raised an alarm and persons came out to investigate. The matter was promptly reported to the police. No marks of violence were found on the man’s body which was then taken to the Suddie Public Hospital mortuary awaiting an autopsy examination.
