Police Force hosts annual Children Christmas Party

THE Guyana Police Force hosted its annual Officers’ children Christmas party at the Police Officers’ Mess Annex Eve-Leary on Friday.

The party commenced at 15:00hrs with a thrilling entrance by Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and their friends which included; Spider Man, Dora, Mickey Mouse and Minion.

The group of characters wasted no time and quickly got the children involved in a host of amusing activities, from musical chairs, to 1 2 3 red light statue and dance-offs which had the entire party in full excitement.

It was surely a lot of fun and entertainment for the young children as they were in very cheerful spirits all evening.

In an effort to continue putting smiles on the young ones faces and to uphold the season of giving, the Guyana Police Force distributed Christmas gifts to every child who attended the party.

Later in the evening, the children were fortunate to be graced with the presence of Commissioner of Police Leslie James, Deputy Commissioner—Administration Paul Williams, Police Public Relations and Press Officer Superintendent Jairam Ramlakhan, Traffic Chief Superintendent, Linden Isles and other officers of the Force.

The commissioner and his officers were seen engaging with the children and their parents by sharing cheerful moments and taking photographs, he also used the opportunity to wish them a merry Christmas and a joyous new year.
