A HANDYMAN of Whim Village, East Berbice, Corentyne was stabbed to death during an argument with a teen on Saturday.

While the details of the incident are sketchy, the Guyana Chronicle understands the men who work together were imbibing when the argument started.

The teen, whose name was given as “O Neal”, a former inmate of the New Opportunity Corps, reportedly during the verbal tussle, whipped out a knife from his pants pocket and stabbed his drinking partner called “Bull”.

Following the act, the teen fled the scene. This publication was later informed that the suspect was arrested and is in police custody.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
